About Powerball

How does Powerball at Lottoland work?

You bet on the outcome of the official US Powerball draw. Pick your numbers and match them to win prizes, just like in the official lottery.

How do I place a bet on the Powerball?

Choose 5 numbers from 1–69 and a Powerball from 1–26. You can also use QuickPick (dice icon) to generate random numbers.

How do I win the jackpot?

Match all 5 numbers and the Powerball to win the Powerball jackpot.

How much does it cost?

A single Powerball line costs £3.50. If the Powerball jackpot reaches $1 billion (approx. £750 million), Lottoland may increase the price of a single line at its discretion.

When is the draw?

Powerball draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 3:59am (UK time).

Can the draw cut-off time change?

Yes. In some cases, we may use an alternative service to place bets on official lottery tickets. This can affect draw cut-off time or ticket processing time. See the Terms and Conditions for more details.

What is Power Play?

Power Play boosts your non-jackpot winnings by up to 10x for £1 extra.
The Tier 2 prize (Match 5) is always doubled, no matter which Power Play ball is drawn.

When is the 10x Power Play available?

The 10x boost is only available when the jackpot is below $150 million (approx. £112 million). If the jackpot is higher, lower multipliers apply.

How much can I win?

The Powerball jackpot starts at $20 million (approx. £15 million) and is uncapped, so it can keep growing until it’s won. All amounts are subject to exchange rates. Check the pay table for full prize details.

What is a Boosted Jackpot?

A Boosted Jackpot (or Special Jackpot) is an enhanced jackpot feature on selected lotto betting games. For a limited number of draws, we replace the standard jackpot with a much higher top prize. These jackpots are exclusive to Lottoland and are completely independent of any corresponding underlying draws.

What are the odds of winning?

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

How are jackpot amounts calculated?

All jackpots are estimates and subject to currency fluctuations. Amounts are converted from USD values to GBP based on conversion rates at the time of writing and actual thresholds may be subject to fluctuations from time to time.
